Tak terasa, waktu telah menunjukkan hampir jam 12 siang. Kenyamanan dan kemewahan yang kami rasakan di Swiss Belresort Tanjung Binga akan segera berakhir. Sebelumnya kami telah berkemas, jadi saat akan check out dari kamar tidak grabak – grubug.
Setelah keluar dari kamar, kami langsung menuju ke resepsionis untuk check out. Kami pun meminta izin untuk menitipkan barang bawaan kami terlebih dahulu, sebab sebelum kembali ke Tanjung Pandan. Kami hendak mengunjungi Pantai Tanjung Tinggi yang jarak sekitar10 kilometer dari Swiss Belresort Tanjung Binga. Dekat banget kan? Sayang banget kalau tak kesana.

Seharusnya kami kesana 2 hari lalu usai island hopping, tapi berhubung Fawwaz-nya sudah tepar karena keasikan main air. Jadinya waktu sampai kembali di Pantai Tanjung Kelayang, kami lebih memilih langsung kembali ke Tanjung Pandan.
Sebenarnya saya sendiri telah berkali – kali mengunjungi pantai ini, namun Hanny dan Fawwaz kan belum, jadinya saya akan mengajak mereka kesana.
Usai menitipkan barang, kami langsung bergegas menuju kesana dengan sepeda motor. Hanya dalam waktu kurang lebih 10 menit kami telah tiba di pantai yang pada tahun 2008 pernah dijadikan sebagai lokasi syuting film Laskar Pelangi. Film ini diangkat dari novel berjudul sama karangan Andrea Hirata yang merupakan Putra Belitong Asli.
By the way, ceritanya kan anak – anak Laskar Pelangi itu tinggalnya di Gantong. Kok mainnya ke sini ya? Biarlah, pemilihan pantai ini sebagai lokasi syuting pastinya sudah melewati berbagai pertimbangan. Walaupun di Belitung Timur juga memiliki pantai – pantai yang tak kalah cantik seperti Pantai Serdang dan Pantai Burung Mandi.
Namun harus diakui, keindahan Pantai Tanjung Tinggi baru diketahui oleh banyak orang sejak film ini meledak ke pasaran. Saat Laskar Pelangi ditayangkan di layar lebar, film ini mampu mendatangkan hingga 4,7 juta penonton. Luar biasa!
Efek yang terjadi apa? Orang – orang mulai mengetahui kalau Belitung itu indah! Dan mulailah kehidupan pariwisata di pulau yang dulunya kaya akan kandungan timah ini menggeliat. Kalau dulu pulau ini mendatangkan buruh tambang, kini ia mendatangkan para turis.
Saya jadi ngalor – ngidul gini ceritanya.

Main ke Pantai Tanjung Tinggi
Saat tiba di lokasi, Fawwaz rupanya sudah tertidur. Yah, padahal saya mau nunjukkin ke dia keindahan pantai ini. Walaupun kelak saat dia dewasa nanti belum tentu ingat kalau ia pernah diajak kesini oleh ayahnya yang bergaji pas – pasan ini.
Saat hendak melangkah ke lokasi syuting Laskar Pelangi, datang rombongan polisi wisata. Saya jadi deg – degan jangan – jangan kami tidak diperkenankan berada disini dan diminta untuk memutar balik.
Kedatangan kami ke Belitung pada saat Corona mulai melanda Indonesia. Namun meski saat itu di Belitung belum ada satu pun yang terinfeksi Virus Corona, untuk langkah antisipasi pencegahan penularan virus ini Pemerintah Daerah baik Belitung maupun Belitung Timur melakukan penutupan hampir semua objek wisata.
“Ada apa, pak?”tanya saya kepada Pak Polisi yang mendekati kami
“Cuma tanya – tanya, aja. Kalian dari mana?”
“Jakarta, Pak. Pantai ini ditutup juga kah?”
“oh tidak, kalian bisa masuk, silahkan, enjoy the view”
Usai perbincangan singkat dengan Polisi Wisata itu, saya langsung menjelajahi pantai berpasir putih ini. Sementara itu Hanny lebih memilih duduk santai di bawah pohon Ketapang yang rindang. Ia memang kurang begitu antusias jika diajak ke pantai, sebab ia lahir dan besar di pesisir Lhokseumawe. Baginya pantai itu sama saja.
Padahal tentu saja tidak, setiap pantai punya karakteristiknya masing – masing. Seperti pantai ini, ia memiliki pasir putih, kemiringan pantainya yang landai dan membentuk teluk sehingga gelombang yang tiba di bibir pantai ini cukup tenang. Jadi pantai ini cocok banget sebagai tempat liburan keluarga.
Selain itu pantai ini juga eksotis dengan keberadaan batu – batu granit berukuran raksasa. Akan semakin indah jika dilihat dari ketinggian. Seperti foto di bawah ini.
Jika anda berkesempatan mengunjungi pantai yang oleh warga setempat dinamakan Pantai Pelabuhan Bilik ini, coba perhatikan dengan seksama batu – batu granit yang ada disana. Jika jeli anda akan menemukan sisa – sisa laut purba zaman dahulu, yaitu lapisan kerang teritip yang melekat pada bebatuan pantai.
Darimana Batu – batu Granit di Pantai Tanjung Tinggi Berasal?
Batu – batu granit berukuran raksasa disini seringkali mengundang tanya bagi wisatawan yang berkunjung kesini? Darimana kah ia berasal?
Batuan ini merupakan hasil pembekuan magma yang bersifat asam, yaitu dengan kandungan silika yang tinggi lebih dari 65%. Penelitian oleh Priem et al 1975 menyebutkan umur absolut dari granit Belitung di bagian barat laut yakni 208-245 juta tahun dan termasuk dalam Zaman Trias. Sama seperti batuan granit yang ada di Pulau Kelayang.
Batuan-batuan ini kemudian membeku dan mengalami proses tektonik berupa pengangkatan, bahkan beberapa mengalami pematahan dan peretakan.
Akibat dari proses tektonik tersebut, batu granit yang tadinya berasal jauh di bawah permukaan Bumi akhirnya muncul ke permukaan Bumi. Selama proses pengangkatan granit dari bawah Bumi, tubuh granit mengalami retak-retak atau deformasi.
Ketika tubuh granit yang retak-retak ini muncul
di permukaan Bumi, proses pelapukan dan erosi atau abrasi mengikisnya. Proses
pelapukan dan erosi ini berlangsung selama ribuan tahun. Akibatnya, batu granit
yang muncul di permukaan seolah-olah merupakan bongkah batuan yang
terpisah-pisah.
Padahal bongkah
batu granit raksasa ini sebenarnya hanya bagian atas dari tubuh sangat besar
batu granit yang ada di bawah permukaan Bumi.
Cara Menuju Pantai Tanjung Tinggi
Pantai ini adalah salah satu destinasi favorit di Belitung. Dari Bandara HAS Hanandjoeddin berjarak sekitar 30 kilometer, sedangkan jika dari pusat kota Tanjung Pandan berjarak sekitar 28 kilometer.
Jika anda mulai berangkat dari Tanjung Pandan, pantai ini bisa ditempuh dalam waktu sekitar 30 menit perjalanan. Hingga saat ini belum ada retribusi tiket masuk. Paling hanya bayar parkir saja ke warga lokal.
Di Pantai Tanjung Tinggi tersedia fasilitas mushala dan kedai – kedai yang menjual makanan dan minuman. Selain itu biasanya di pantai ini ada penjual oleh – oleh khas Belitung seperti terasi udang, teripang dan lada. Mereka biasanya menggunakan sepeda motor dalam menjajakan dagangannya. Terasi Belitung bisa dijadikan oleh – oleh, harganya Rp 50 ribu untuk 4 buah terasi berdiameter sekitar 10 centimeter. Terasi Belitung ini enak banget jika dijadikan bahan untuk membuat sambal terasi.
Oh ya, bagaimana cara menuju Pantai Tanjung Tinggi?
Hingga saat ini belum ada transportasi umum yang bisa mengantarkan anda kesini. Jadi satu – satunya cara ialah anda menyewa kendaraan. Harga sewa motor di Belitung mulai dari Rp 75 ribu per hari, sedangkan untuk mobil seperti Avanza mulai dari Rp 250 ribu jika anda membawanya sendiri. Jika dengan sopir dan bensin maka harganya Rp 550 ribu.
Atau kalau mau praktis, ikuti saja program Paket Tour Belitung yang biasanya selalu menjadikan Pantai Tanjung Tinggi sebagai destinasi yang dikunjungi.
