Ada cerita yang tertinggal. Setelah menulis cerita mengunjungi Pantai Tanjung Tinggi, saya menuliskan pengalaman makan bedulang di Rumah Makan Timpo Duluk. Padahal dari Pantai Tanjung Tinggi, sebelum kembali ke Swiss Belresort Tanjung Binga. Saya mengajak Hanny dan Fawwaz ke Desa Sijuk, tujuannya adalah melihat Masjid Al Ikhlas Sijuk.
Ya, saya lupa untuk menuliskan tentang Masjid Al Ikhlas Sijuk. Jari – jemari saya memang agak kaku untuk menuliskan destinasi wisata religi.
Sekarang mumpung lagi ingat, maka saya berusaha untuk menuliskannya hingga tuntas, berikut ini kisahnya.
Masjid Al Ikhlas Sijuk berjarak sekitar 7 kilometer dari obyek wisata Pantai Tanjung Tinggi. Masjid ini sebenarnya bisa menjadi destinasi wisata religi bagi wisatawan yang mengunjungi Belitung. Tapi mungkin karena lokasinya yang agak masuk ke dalam kampung, jadi jarang banget wisatawan yang kesini.

Sejarah Masjid Al Ikhlas Sijuk
Masjid Sijok ini diberi nama masjid al-ikhlas. Merupakan satu-satunya yang masih ada dari 4 masjid di Belitung ini yang dibangun dengan bentuk bangunan yang sama. Masjid pertama di daerah Parang Buluh Kecamatan Membalong. Masjid kedua di daerah Buding, Kecamatan Kelapa kampit. Masjid yang ketiga di daerah Badau, Kecamatan Badau. Kemudian masjid yang keempat adalah Masjid Al-Ikhlas di Dusun Ulu Desa Sijuk inilah yang masih ada sampai saat ini. Tiga masjid sebelumnya sudah tidak ada lagi
Menurut cerita dari orang-orang tua terdahulu masjid ini mulai didirikan tahun 1817 Masehi oleh Tuk Dong. Tak ada yang tahu pasti siapa sebenarnya Tuk Dong ini. Ada yang mengatakan beliau ini adalah dua bersaudara yang berasal dari negeri Cina. Satu sama lain saling membantu membangun tempat ibadah. Satu membangun masjid satunya lagi membangun klenteng.
Kelenteng Sijok dibangun 2 tahun lebih awal dari Masjid Sijok yaitu 1815 Masehi. Kedua bangunan Ini sampai sekarangpun masih berdiri. Masjid dan kelenteng ini pun jaraknya berdekatan kurang lebih 200 meter.
Hal ini membuktikan bahwa dari zaman dahulu pun di daerah ini telah terjalin sikap gotong royong dan saling menghargai antara orang Melayu dan orang Cina. Dan di sekitar daerah ini pula pernah ada suatu pemukiman yang disebut Kampung Cine.
Bangunan Masjid Al Ikhlas Sijuk
Masjid ini ditopang oleh empat pilar tiang utama, menurut orang – orang tua terdahulu, bahan untuk membuat pilar tersebut ialah kayu teruntum. Kayu ini hanya tumbuh di daerah hutan bakau. Kayu ini yang didapat dari daerah hutan Mengguru di Desa Sungai Padang sekarang. Kayu Ini dibawa dengan rakit di sungai selama berbulan-bulan, sebab pada waktu itu belum ada alat transportasi seperti sekarang. Adapun dinding masjid terbuat dari papan dan atapnya terbuat dari sirap (belahan tipis kayu ulin) yang berasal dari Pulau Kalimantan.
Masjid ini telah mengalami beberapa kali rehab. Rehab pertama dan kedua tidak diketahui pasti waktunya. Adapun untuk rehab yang ketiga dikerjakan oleh Bapak Maharan sekitar tahun 1948 dengan menambah dinding di bagian dalam sehingga menjadi dua lapis dan menambah bangunan di bagian belakang sebagai aula. Pada tahun 1970 oleh bapak Abdul Majid masjid ini kembali direhab dindingnya dan diganti atapnya dengan seng. Adapun rehab – rehab itu dilakukan tanpa merubah bentuk asli masjid yang sesungguhnya
Masjid ini selain untuk ibadah shalat baik shalat lima waktu salat Jumat maupun salat hari raya juga sering dipakai untuk tempat bermusyawarah. Jamaahnya pun selain berasal dari Sijuk juga berasal dari Sungai Padang, Pelepak Pute, Aik Kalak, Aik Selumar dan Tanjung Tinggi.
Tahun 1980 masjid ini sempat ditelantarkan karena fungsinya sebagai sebuah masjid dipindahkan ke masjid baru yang lebih besar yaitu Masjid Al Muhajirin yang didirikan di daerah Sijuk juga. Jarak antara kedua masjid ini adalah 14 kilometer.
Kemudian pada tahun 1999 masyarakat Dusun Ulu ini bermusyawarah untuk memperbaiki dan mempergunakan kembali mesjid ini seperti sedia kala. Akhirnya setelah bergotong-royong mengumpulkan bahan bangunan secara Swadaya dan kemudian memperbaikinya maka di akhir tahun 2000 masjid ini mulai dipergunakan kembali.
Pada bulan Oktober 2012 masjid ini mendapat bantuan hibah dari Provinsi Bangka Belitung dan dipergunakan untuk mengganti plafon dek dari triplek ke eternit.
